WorldCIST is a global forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss recent results and innovations, current trends, professional experiences and challenges of modern information systems and technologies research, together with their technological development and applications. Penelitian ini akan memberikan hasil analisa dari perkembangan trend perkembangan musik khususnya pada aplikasi Spotify menggunakan Structured Query Language. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pemantauan terhadap trend perkembangan musik serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya untuk melihat perubahan apa saja yang terjadi serta menjadi tolak ukur untuk membantu industri musik dalam menghasilkan musik yang layak didengarkan serta membawa pengaruh positif. Perubahan musik yang signifikan setiap tahunnya mempengaruhi pembentukan pola pikir masyarakat terhadap preferensi pilihan musik. Spotify menjadi salah satu aplikasi yang banyak digunakan sebagai platform dalam music streaming. Tidak seperti jaman purbakala, generasi digital saat ini dapat menggunakan teknologi dalam menikmati musik. Musik mengalami perubahan dan berevolusi hingga mencapai abad ke 21. Additionally implicit learning benefits on increasing technical know-how, cooperative skills and design thinking were discovered.

Analysis of the similarities and differences in the thought processes between creating software and composing music revealed the latter to have potential for teaching the following thinking skills present in K-12 educational curricula: modularity, loops and conditionals, data structures, input/output and software design. We investigate the opportunities that technology-assisted music composing offers for teaching 21st skills and programming in K-12 education through expert interviews with professional music composers (n=4) and programmers (n=5). Additionally the digitization of music production requires composers to effectively use digital music production tools and associated technology. Yet, music theory contains logical structures which are in many regards similar to program code. Simultaneously music teaching in K-12 education is losing relevance and popularity. 21st century skills are being added in K-12 educational curricula globally, often via integrating them into existing subjects such as math.
